The Swedish Academy that awards annual international accolades in the fields of Physics, Chemistry, Physiology, Literature and Peace, will include a new award this year for Fantasy Sports Prize. The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences will recognize outstanding achievement in the growing market of fantasy sports to highlight contributions to that industry.
The organization highlighted special recognition for nominations in areas of best player projection, best fantasy team name, most unbelievable beat down and most hated fantasy owner in a league.
On hand for the award ceremony in Oslo, Norway would be Matthew Berry of ESPN and Harry Potter himself, Daniel Radcliffe, a noted fantasy football fanatic.
Finally, this year winner would be pitted against next year's top nomination in a auction draft in a daily fantasy game to determine next year Fantasy Sport Prize recipient.
