Fantasy Sports Network partners with Bloomberg Sports for fantasy content

The recently launched Fantasy Sports Network has announced an agreement with Bloomberg Sports to include "Bloomberg Sports Stats Insights" with their lineup. The show covers sports and fantasy analysis that is hosted by Shannon Sommerville.

Fantasy Sports Network is a dedicated 24 hour  fantasy sports network that covers sports ranging from the most popular fantasy football but also covers fantasy baseball, fantasy basketball, fantasy golf, and fantasy horse racing. With the partnership with Bloomberg Sports, the network will feature a daily show that will analyze the statistics of fantasy sports. Daily player forecast and projections will be included on the show as well as daily trends for players that rising and falling. It leverages Bloomberg Sports' expertise and technology in data and analytics and combines  that with Fantasy Sports Network's fantasy expertise.

The show is planned to be launched this quarter.

FtSb says: Fantasy Sports Network is starting its programming so any partnership it can forge in this stage of development is important. Taking on the sports data and analytics aspect is also a good move to differentiate itself with other mainstream program that is offered on the ESPN and podcasts of the world. It remains to be seen how main stream they can make this specific program. Although some fantasy owners appreciate the subtitles of stats, a numbers players may just want the rankings.
