Stats LLC has acquired Bloomberg Sports analysis division. The deal has been reported to be between $15 million and $20 million.
This was the first purchase that Stats has been made since being sold off by the Associated Press and Fox Sports. Stats will now have access to Bloomberg complex model and algorithms that can be incorporated into their own data model. This will include the BSports technology that can be integrated to STAT own Sports Solutions Group.
Stats is now owned by Vista Equity partners.
