New York Giants running back Brandon Jacobs gets death threat from fantasy-football fanatic on Twitter

Brandon Jacobs received a death threat over Twitter from a fantasy football fanatic who threatened Jacobs and his family if he didn't perform well on Sunday.

The NY Post carries the exchange from the fantasy football fanatic and Jacobs.

FTSB says: We've documented the seriousness of the fantasy football industry in a number of articles. We have also documented the amount of money that this growing industry is making.

When the players in a sport start to dislike the fantasy sport and the behavior of fantasy sports fans, then that could be an issue for the industry itself. Players and Players Unions have significant leverage in bargaining with the leagues and team owners. So from a a business sense, keeping players happy with fantasy sports is smart.

Aside from the business angle, this behavior is just moronic. There's nothing more to describe this moronic moron.
