The CEO discussed the growing fantasy sport site and answered questions about the industry and the challenges of the legality of fantasy sports. There are currently 5 states where fantasy sports is illegal: Louisiana, Arizona, Iowa, Montana and Washington. Robbins commented that that is down from 8 states last year, and noted that 2 of the 5 states have pending litigation to allow fantasy sports. In addition, the Canadian province of Quebec has not legalized fantasy sports.

DraftKings has over 1 million web and mobile users and touts mobile as an area of investment for the company. As the season is ending, the company is also touting their million dollar prize for this weekend and of that million dollar, DraftKings looks to make a commission of about 5%-10%  from each game.

FtSb says: What was interesting about the interview was the reaction and attitude of the Liz Claman. She commented that "wives around the world are so aggravated...yeah, that was an epic battle in my house"  when introducing the topic of fantasy sports.  She also goes on and posed the question: "How do you get the opportunity to turn it into a real business, obviously people think it is because you got $24 million in funding." Women continue to be a potential market segment for the growth of fantasy sports and even more so, daily fantasy sites. Accordingly to Nielsen, only about a third of fantasy sports players are women.
